Advanced MCACC
Pioneer’s VSXAX4ASiS allows you to create ideal acoustic environment with ease. The advanced MCACC applies 'Time Axis' in measuring the listening environment’s acoustic characteristics and in applying frequency response compensation. This results in a more precise adjustment of frequency response for human ears.

What does MCACC actually do? There are five key steps:
STEP 1- Analysis of connected speakers
MCACC automatically checks if the calibration microphone is connected, detects how many speakers are connected including the subwoofer and measures the ambient noise.
STEP 2– Analysis of speaker type
MCACC automatically checks the size of the speakers. Each speaker is designated ‘small’ or ‘large’ depending on its ability to reproduce bass frequencies effectively.
STEP 3– Analysis of speaker positioning
MCACC automatically analyses the distance between the speakers and the listening position and channel delay is applied to each speaker for effective surround sound. Each channel’s sound information arrives at the listening position at the perfect time.
STEP 4– Analysis of sound pressure level
MCACC automatically adjusts the sound pressure level of each channel to achieve the best possible overall sound balance. All sound reaches the listening position at the same level.
STEP 5– Analysis of frequency response
Each speaker’s frequency response is adjusted based on the room’s characteristics using a multi-band graphic equaliser. MCACC neutralises the ambient characteristics resulting in a smooth and single sound field.

Digital Video Converter
The VSXAX4ASiS allows for easy set up and connection. You can plug-in your existing or new AV components via analogue video connections (composite, S-video, component) and connect the HDMI output from the VSXAX4ASiS to your Pioneer plasma television via a single cable.
HDMI video output will ensure the best picture quality on your Pioneer plasma TV.

Faroudja™ DCDi video upscaling
Whilst digital video conversion is great from an ease-of-use perspective, video upscaling improves picture quality directly by ‘adding’ more detail to an original video signal. LCD smart learning remote
